Delaware Humanities develops original exhibits for organizations, and brings traveling exhibits from the Smithsonian’s Museum on Main Street Program to Delaware. Injustice & Integration: 70 Years of Brown v. Board of Education, an exhibit by Delaware Humanities

Created to mark the 70^th anniversary of Brown v. Board of Education, this exhibit highlights Delaware’s role in the landmark court case and the integration efforts that followed.

By providing an overview of Delaware’s integration efforts, this exhibit introduces audiences to several aspects of our state’s school desegregation story: the Delaware court cases that became part of Brown v. Board, the successes and challenges faced by Delaware schools immediately after the Brown ruling, and continued school integration efforts in Delaware up to the present day.

Funding for Injustice & Integration: 70 Years of Brown v. Board of Education has been provided by the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) as part of the United We Stand: Connecting Through Culture initiative.

Nothing Less: Delaware, Women's Suffrage and Equal Rights

Delaware Humanities has developed the original panel exhibit Nothing Less, which examines Delaware’s history with women’s suffrage, its unique role in the passage of the 19th Amendment, the Equal Rights Amendment, and general voting rights in the United States.
