History Book Festival

The History Book Festival is the first and only book festival in the country dedicated to history – both fiction and narrative nonfiction. The main festival is hosted at the end of September in Lewes, drawing around 25 authors from around the country/world with new stories that represent a broad perspective on history. More than 4,000 readers join them to celebrate the power of history, literature, and civil dialog to shape the future for the better.
