Karen has a BSW and background in direct services that has sharpened her communication skills. She is also a climate and environmental justice organizer who works with a diverse group of participants toward a common goal. She has facilitated many  roundtable discussions around climate, environment and societal issues creating opportunities for all voices to be heard.
