Action/Innovation Subawards (Grants) SPRING Session Announcement

Action/Innovation subawards offer between $5,001-18,000 and are project/event based for larger scale ambitions. Successful applications for Action/Innovation Subawards have a fully envisioned structure and conceptualized plan but require funding in order to be put into ‘action’. All Action/Innovation Subawards must align with one of Delaware Humanities’ four Core Themes.

The period of performance of these awards is May 1, 2023 – April 30, 2024.  All award activities must take place during and all funds must be spent within this time-period.

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) originally awarded these funds to Delaware Humanities to pass through competitively to other organizations in Delaware to help fulfill the mission of the NEH. Action/Innovation Sub-award applications are processed based on the schedule above, with External Humanities Experts serving as reviewers, and the final decision is made by the Delaware Humanities board members.
