Program: What Does It Mean to be a Delawarean?

As Delaware kicks off its commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence and breaking away from England, Delaware Humanities’ Executive Director, Michele Anstine, examines at the question “What does it mean to be a Delawarean?”

Drawing on different humanities subjects such as history, literature, and philosophy, this program examines aspects that contribute to the Delaware identity. Rather than reaching a definitive conclusion, the talk aims to equip attendees with new perspectives and humanities tools to help them tackle life’s “big questions.”

Join Michele for this talk at the Delaware City Library, made possible by the Friends of Fort DuPont.

This event is sponsored by Delaware Humanities. If you have any questions please contact the hosting location.
