Kick off National Arts and Humanities Month by joining Delaware Humanities for an afternoon of discussion, learning, and networking! The event will include three rounds of conversations on key issues faced in humanities work (conversation topics listed below) followed by time for networking. Light refreshments will be provided.

Conversation Topics for Round Table Discussions:

1) Diversifying Audiences — Led by Alexandra Cenatus, Director of Programs at MD Humanities

2) Creating Innovative and Relevant Programs — Led by Carl Shaw, Manager of Community Engagement and Programs at Wilmington Public Library

3) Community Trust Building and Handling Difficult Conversations — Led by David Stradley, Director of Membership and Community Engagement at Local Journalism Initiative Delaware and a Delaware Humanities Conversation Leader

4) Delaware 250 — Led by Margaret Hughes, Coordinator of Delaware 250

5) Working with K-12 Teachers and Institutions — Led by Rebecca Fay, Director of Education and Inspiration at Delaware Historical Society

6) Fostering Donors and Members — Led by Ayana Curtis, Development Associate at The Rosenbach Museum and Library
