Lloyd King gradated from Warwick High School near Williamsburg, Virginia. He then attended William & Mary before entering the army. After discharge, he returned to school at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He received a B.S. in 1960 and a M.S. in 1961.
Lloyd taught English at many levels for the next 36 years, including high school, college and adults. At Glasgow High School, Lloyd had an acting company that travelled throughout Delaware doing excerpts or “cuttings” from Shakespearian plays. Lloyd finds that learning the lines will teach an appreciation of the playwrights enduring genius.
